15-Day Himalayan Spiritual India Trip - X (October 6 - 20, 2017): A Trip of a Lifetime
Encouraged by the overwhelming response to my last 9 Spiritual India Trips, I have decided to organize Himalayan Spiritual India Trip from October 6 to 20, 2017. I invite you to join this trip of a life time to explore the beauty of India's 5000 years old rich culture, heritage and delicious cuisines.
While travelling to most popular tourist destinations of North India (Delhi, Agra and Nainital etc.), we will not only delve into India's fascinating history, but also have the opportunity to visit some of the most serene and spiritually enriched places in the majestic Himalayas. We will enjoy a lot of fun activities, including visits to colorful bazaars. Most importantly, we will celebrate Diwali (festival of lights - the biggest festival of India) with a family in Delhi.
As you know, India is a mystical land that has a living ancient culture in its many holy places and Ashram's. At one of these Ashram's, we will attend a spiritual retreat under the guidance of a famous Yoga Master who obtained master's degree in nutrition from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA. In tune with the latest advances in mind-body medicine, he is the author of 10 books and more than 200 research articles on Yoga and health etc. He took early retirement from his last job (as a professor in one of the topmost medical institutions in India) to deepen his dedication to disseminating Yoga.
Following is just a brief itinerary of this trip, including visit to Taj Mahal in Agra, Akshar Dham etc. in Delhi and places of faith in Himalayas. This itinerary is subject to changes.
Friday, October 6: Arrival in Delhi, rest and relax.
Saturday, October 7: Sightseeing in Delhi, including visit to Akshar Dham Temple.
